EIT Culture & Creativity

CollectiveUP is a founding and core partner of the EIT Culture & Creativity (CC), the ninth Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. This EIT KIC ecosystem will provide interventions to the Culture and Creativity Sector Industry and sector-specific challenges in education, innovation and business creation and foster interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration. In this way, EIT CC unlocks the innovative potential of its fragmented ecosystem, contributing to Europe's triple transition and accelerating competitive and resilient cultural and creative entrepreneurship.

Project Impact

With an initial focus on 5 priority sectors: fashion, architecture, cultural heritage, audio-visual, and gaming, the impacts aim to:  

  • Create and maintain jobs in a resilient CCSI business ecosystem able to scale and compete in global markets 
  • Reduce negative environmental impact and increase climate resilience in and by EU CCSI
  • Accelerate transitions towards sustainable and responsible economic growth of EU CCSI.
