Agile4Collaboration: Transforming learning & collaboration through Agile Methodologies

We are thrilled to announce the successful submission of the final report for Agile4Collaboration, an Erasmus+ project that has redefined how agile methodologies can enhance education, collaboration, and inclusive learning. Over the past years, this initiative has engaged thousands of educators, students, and institutions, fostering flexible, scalable, and neuro-inclusive approaches to learning.

Agile4Collaboration in numbers

Throughout the project, we have:

Engaged 32,000+ individuals (directly and indirectly)
Reached 8,000+ educators, including:

  • 580 RHIZO teachers
  • 1,293 UFV faculty members
  • 2,000+ EUDEC educators
  • 1,000+ Agile Learning Center (ALC) facilitators

Indirectly impacted 24,000+ students, benefiting from improved learning environments
Partnered with 50+ institutions, including:

  • 20 schools in the K8 network
  • 11 RHIZO schools
  • 10 EUDEC schools
  • 10 Agile Learning Centers (ALCs)

Engaged policymakers, including 10+ civil servants across 3 municipalities in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Saarland’s Ministry of Education
Developed resources for neurodiverse learners, directly supporting 61 students with disabilities

What we achieved

🔹 Bringing Agile to Education: We developed tailored agile tools and frameworks to help educators adopt iterative, student-centered learning approaches. These methodologies have empowered schools and institutions to become more adaptive and collaborative.

🔹 Training and Capacity Building: Through a mix of online and in-person events, we trained educators, administrators, and policymakers, equipping them with agile practices to foster better decision-making and teamwork.

🔹 Fostering Inclusive Learning Environments: We co-created and disseminated inclusive educational materials, ensuring that neurodiverse learners and students with disabilities could also benefit from the flexibility of agile methodologies.

🔹 Policy and Institutional Change: By engaging with policymakers and key stakeholders, we advocated for the adoption of agile learning principles in institutional and municipal education strategies.

Stories of impact

🌱 At Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV), over 1,293 faculty members incorporated agile tools into their teaching practices, enhancing student engagement and adaptability.

🏫 In RHIZO schools, teachers experienced agile-based training that reshaped their approach to collaboration and decision-making within the classroom.

🧠 Neurodiversity and Inclusion: Our resources directly impacted 29 students with disabilities in Belgium and 32 at UFV, ensuring that agile practices support personalized and adaptive learning for all students.

What’s next?

Though the Agile4Collaboration project has officially concluded, our journey doesn’t end here. The tools, insights, and connections we’ve built will continue to shape how agile methodologies are used in education and beyond. We’re excited to keep sharing best practices, lessons learned, and new opportunities to bring more flexibility, inclusion, and collaboration into learning environments.

We invite educators, institutions, and policymakers to continue this journey with us! Let’s keep transforming education together.
